Things that help us function (real-life version)
These are real products I’ve used for myself and my kids—nothing curated just to look good or sell something. Just things that have actually helped.
I’ve organized them by theme and by symptoms to make it easier to find what you need quickly—because when you’re chronically ill or parenting a complex child, there isn’t a lot of extra time or energy to sort through endless options.
There’s no pressure to buy anything here. This is simply a shortcut—so you don’t have to start from scratch or spend money on things that don’t work.
Everything listed is something we’ve tried and would use again. In other words, it made a noticeable difference for us—which can be hard to figure out when you’re navigating trial and error.
I can’t promise these will work for you or your child. But they are informed by research and real symptom relief, and shared in the hope that they make your path a little easier.
Dr. Linda Bluestein, fellow chronic illness patient, Medical Doctor. and host of the Bendy Bodies Podcast also has an EXTREMELY helpful amazon storefront with well cultivated products for a variety of symptoms and supports including supplements, reading materials, mobility aids, pain relief, travel aids and more.
